Thanks to everyone who came out to SFASC's first ever Clubs Day booth. It was a great success (and by success, we mean no one caught on fire and there were minimal deaths), and it was all because of you guys.
This semester sees the addition of 60 new members to our community, and hopefully we'll catch them around the forum or at our upcoming events. Thanks especially to those who helped out at our booth. Vincent, Chris, Jacky, Sean, Stefan, Nick, and Eddie. Huge thanks to those of you who aren't execs (at least not yet =p) and just stepped in to help anyway - yushimi/Christine (did I get your name right?), ikkakkakakau/Ben, darkscythe/OtherJacky, m13/Mike, and especially almightyGab/Paul Walker/Gab, who showed up EARLIER THAN ME on both days, stayed longer than most, and carried the big cursed box of crap that throws out everyone's backs who carries it. I'm proud of what we accomplished our first week into launching our new club, and can't wait for our upcoming first event on the 24th. *copied to original post* _________________ Sonca Teng, SFASC

it was great fun trying to moderately be louder than the other group.... especially watching mike constantly adjusting the volume on the youtube videos

exactly a week ago from today.
Today's quite boring compared to last Wednesday. No worries, it was just a voluntary thing because I just wanted to hang out at a booth that I was actually interested in to, and plus I had 3 hours to kill. as for the music loudness, I play to win. To me, the other groups were challenging our group's superiority to them. Not acceptable hahaha. It was definately good to get to know a few of you better, hopefully through the events down the road I'll get to know about SFASC more, and eventually apply as an exec in 1097 or something if I'm ready to take on the responsibilities. On the subject of the "big huge bag nobody wants to carry around".... what happened to the SFICC suitcase I passed on to Kyle during his presidency? The thing had a pull handle and wheels...
If someone stole that, I'll be sad  |

A lot of the SFICC/ASC stuff is stored in my garage because no one else has room, but this semester we failed to realize that a suitcase will not fit in an S2000. That led to a lot of panic until we realized that SFICC/ASC did not necessarily NEED to run out of a suitcase. So we brought boxes instead.
